ADHD Services
Are you or your child newly diagnosed with ADHD and unsure where to begin with treatment options?
Have you come across ADHD information on social media and started to wonder whether some of those experiences might apply to you or your child?
Have you been in treatment before but feel like you need a more targeted approach to managing ADHD?
Or do you identify as a “late-diagnosed” ADHDer and are looking for support in understanding how ADHD has impacted different areas of your life?
At ACW, we offer services specifically focused on understanding and treating ADHD using evidence-based approaches tailored to each person’s needs. Treatment may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral strategies, psychoeducation, and support around school or workplace accommodations.
We take a neurodiversity-affirming approach, recognizing both the challenges and strengths that can come with ADHD. Our work focuses not only on symptom management, but also on helping individuals and families better understand how ADHD impacts executive functioning, emotional regulation, relationships, learning, and day-to-day life.
ACW also collaborates with local professionals and providers when appropriate to ensure clients receive comprehensive, research-informed care. This collaborative approach helps support accurate assessment, coordinated treatment planning, and access to the most current ADHD research and interventions.
Because ADHD is often misunderstood or misidentified, having a knowledgeable provider on your team can make a meaningful difference. Thoughtful assessment, clear education, and targeted treatment planning can help reduce frustration, prevent ineffective treatment paths, and support lasting change.

ACW offers in-person or virtual sessions designed to help individuals and families better understand ADHD and develop practical strategies for managing its impact on daily life. ADHD affects far more than attention—it can influence executive functioning, emotional regulation, motivation, relationships, school or work performance, and family dynamics. These sessions provide a supportive space to explore how ADHD uniquely shows up for you or your child and to develop approaches that align with your strengths, needs, and values.
Services are tailored to each family or individual and may include education about ADHD, skill-building, and collaborative problem-solving around real-life challenges. A neurodiversity-affirming perspective is used to help clients and families understand ADHD not simply as a deficit, but as a different way of processing, organizing, and responding to the world.
Sessions may focus on areas such as:
Understanding ADHD and how it impacts executive functioning, emotional regulation, and motivation
Developing practical tools for organization, planning, and task completion
Managing overwhelm, procrastination, and difficulty getting started or staying on track
Navigating school or workplace challenges and identifying supportive accommodations
Improving communication and reducing conflict within families
Supporting routines around sleep, homework, transitions, and daily responsibilities
Building self-awareness, confidence, and self-advocacy skills
Helping parents better understand and support their child’s ADHD at home and in school
For families, sessions may also include guidance for parents on how ADHD impacts behavior, learning, and emotional development, along with strategies that reduce power struggles and strengthen connection. The goal is to help families move from frustration and confusion toward greater understanding, collaboration, and sustainable systems that work for their daily lives.
